Cheese Paper
On my list of Life’s Unsolved Problems, “how to store cheese” did not rank very high. I say that, but then I don’t really have a list. Nor can I think of many problems that are looming over me. If I had a list, maybe “how to store cheese” would have rankedhigher than I thought. In any case, the problem of storage was a deterrent to buying good cheese to keep at home.
Recently, guests were coming to visit and I was browsing the Murray’s Cheese section at Harris Teeter. I saw a box of Murray’s Cheese Storage Bags, read the advertising copy on the box, and gave them a try. Problem solved! I’ve gone through almost the whole box, and every time the cheese has maintained its freshness, consistency, and flavor.
How does this work? Apparently cheese paper is breathable, whatever that means. And that’s important, because “cheese is a living, breathing organism that will suffocate if not stored properly.”
It’s a little sad that I’m making housekeeping discoveries like this at an advanced age. I suppose my education has lacked breadth. And so, gentle reader, I write in hopes that my experience will help you avoid regret for an ill-spent youth.

The Main Feeture
As I mentioned several months ago, a while back I dropped a lot of weight. Running was a big part of that, and I’ve been running regularly ever since. For the last few years I’ve settled into a routine of doing a 5k every morning, Monday through Friday. Shoes are obviously an important piece of equipment, but so are socks.
A few years ago I started using Feetures based on a shoe store recommendation and I haven’t looked back. Feetures don’t have as much cushion as some socks (though there is a range they offer) but they feel much better. They also have some compression to them, which is great.
Nothing fancy about this one! These socks are great and I get a few new pairs every time I get new shoes. Check them out.

I already feel like I achieved something today, fellas. Much obliged!
Very interesting. Didn't know about cheese paper.l or the socks. Worth trying.
Thanks Jack and Jack.
